Project Overview: Cherokee Nation is the second largest tribe in the United States, with a population of almost 400,000 and a jurisdictional area spanning over 14 counties and 7,000 square miles in Northeast Oklahoma. Cherokee Nation Health Services mobilized the agency to plan for accreditation in five years and to integrate quality improvement into the agency's 2009–2013 Strategic Goals and Objectives.
