Project Overview:
The Cuyahoga County District Board of Health (CCDBH) is the largest health department in Ohio serving more than 880,000 residents in 57 municipalities in Northeast Ohio. CCDBH chose to address evaluation as an area for improvement and as a result, launched a multifaceted initiative to weave the concept of quality improvement into the work of all program staff. This initiative included internal and external marketing components, training for a cross section of agency program staff, support staff, and management, and time line of activities leading up to national voluntary accreditation.
