Medical Reserve Corps

Volunteers Building Strong, Healthy, and Prepared Communities

The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a community-based, civilian volunteer program that helps build the public health infrastructure of communities nationwide. Each MRC unit is organized and trained to address a wide range of challenges from public health education to disaster response.

The 2015 Network Profile of the Medical Reserve Corps report provides a comprehensive look at MRC unit composition, administration, and community impact, collected from a comprehensive survey administered in 2014. View the report or purchase a printed copy in the NACCHO Bookstore. Thanks to all who made the study a success!
