Tobacco-Use Prevention and Control

Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable death and disease in the United States. NACCHO collaborates with national, federal, state, and local organizations to provide local health departments with the resources they need to reduce tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke in their communities.

Join our Community of Practice!
The Tobacco Community of Practice (CoP) provides a platform for local health departments and other organizations dedicated to tobacco control to connect and share resources, success stories, and challenges. CoP members will gain access to a Virtual Communities page, a Tobacco Newsletter, and informational webinars covering emerging topics in the field of tobacco control and prevention. If you interested in joining the CoP, please fill out CoP Contact List Form
