Issue Summary: Mexican Rodeo-Latino Influenza Outreach Campaign
Description of Issue(s):

Promoting English/Spanish immunizationi messages to a large percentage of Colorado's Latino Community during the Mexican Rodeo portion of the Colorado Stock Show on Sunday, January 10, 2010--National Influenza Vaccination Week.

Actions taken to address the issue(s): Messages will be promoted using the following means:
  • Live messages in English and Spanish delivered by the rodeo announcer
  • Spanish Language PSA running on video screens before the Mexican Rodeo
  • English/Spanish language banner promoting immunizations ridden in by spectacularly glittery girls on horseback
  • Distribution of English/Spanish language educational materials at the Entravision Education Booth
