Issue Summary: Assistance from many organizations make PODs a success in Los Angeles
Description of Issue(s): Partnerships key element of success for PODs.
Actions taken to address the issue(s): The Police Department had officers at the doors making sure that people were protected and keeping a safe environment, college school nurses helped, volunteers from various organizations helped with anything they were asked to help, college students helped in several assignments and some senior citizens also helped to make it easier on the workers.
Outcomes that resulted from actions taken: People helping people was the key to be able to give thousands of H1N1 vaccine to children and adults.
