Issue Summary: Eastern Shore Health District and MRC to Tangier Island
Description of Issue(s):

On January 20, members of the Eastern Shore Health District and MRC volunteers travelled by boat to Tangier, a small island located in the middle of the Chesapeake Bay, to deliver H1N1 vaccines to school and community.  Since the island only receives medical care on a limited basis, the community had asked if we would be willing to come to them to administer the vaccine.

Actions taken to address the issue(s): 50 H1N1 vaccines we given to school age children and the community.
Outcomes that resulted from actions taken: This clinic was well received by the isolated community.
