Issue Summary: ICS - Need for Unified Command with Hospitals
Description of Issue(s): Public Health Muskegon County established an Incident Command Structure to help coordinate our resources with our 23 PODs, at the beginning of the H1N1 outbreak.
Actions taken to address the issue(s):
Outcomes that resulted from actions taken: While this experience has proved extremely useful, it has been recognized that a unified command with the local hospitals will be necessary if this event goes to pandemic phase 6.
