Literature: Performance Management in Public Health Literature Review


The Public Health Foundation compiled this list of selected literature on performance management for the Turning Point Performance Management Collaborative. The majority of books and reports focus on models and how to implement a performance measurement or total quality management program. Additional resources discuss efforts to integrate and use performance data for improvement and effects of performance measurement on outcomes. The selected articles describe uses of performance management in government generally and in the context of evaluation research.
