IS-700 National Incident Management System (NIMS), An Introduction


NIMS provides a consistent nationwide template to enable all government, private-sector, and nongovernmental organizations to work together during domestic incidents.

This FEMA Independent Study Program course, ICS-700, explains the purpose, principles, key components and benefits of NIMS.   

Completion of this course by all entry-level personnel is required for Project Public Health Ready recognition.
