Making the Connection Between HIV and STDs: A Supplemental Guide to STD Education

Making the Connection was designed as a tool for educators who want to teach about all major sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), not just HIV/AIDS. The educational activities included in this guide provide basic facts about the most common STDs, explore myths about STDs, and examine the physical and emotional consequences of STDs. This guide serves as a STD prevention education supplement to existing HIV/AIDS curricula used by educators in California middle schools and high schools.
