Regional Communication Policy


This 21-page Emergency Response Coordinator Communication Policy was created as evidence for Goal 1, Measure 1 of Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) by the Northern Illinois Public Health Consortium (NIPHC) and was identified by NACCHO as a best practice during the second round of PPHR.

The purpose of this plan is to provide communication guidance and protocols for all local health departments within the NIPHC during an emergency.

This resource was created based on the 2005 Regional Criteria. Below are the items identified as missing based on the 2006 Criteria:
