Regional Emergency Deployment Plan

This plan provides an example of a regional preparedness plan  that exemplifies a standardizing type of regional collaboration.

This 24-page Basic Plan was created by the Capitol Region Council of Governments, Capitol Region Emergency Planning Committee (CREPC) in 2006 as evidence for Goal 1, Measure 1 of Project Public Health Ready (PPHR) and was identified by NACCHO as a best practice.

The purpose of this plan is to provide a framework for CREPC member communities and agencies to collaborate in planning, communication, information sharing, and coordination activities before, during, or after a regional emergency.

The complete Regional Emergency Deployment Plan (including annexes) can be viewed here.

Some of this might be used as a starting point for those working within regional response, but much of the information is general or incomplete.
