CDC EHS-Net Justification Grid

The CSW Justification Grid was created through collaborative participation among CDC EHS-Net states and federal partners. The purpose of this document is to provide a list of criteria recognized as essential to foodborne illness complaint systems. The document consists of items which are categorized, detailed and justified where appropriate. In addition, a level of importance was established for each item. The target audience for this tool include members of the public health community interested in evaluating or updating their existing complaint data capture systems. A supplemental Foodborne Illness Complaint Form was developed from this document.
