This searchable database includes research evidence and citations linking the social determinants, the built environment, and health. This information provides citations of peer-reviewed literature, white papers, policy briefs, etc. demonstrating how place impacts health. Much of the evidence presented here has been published in peer-review journals or comes from public agencies and other research-based organizations. The database is organized according to various topics, and is meant to illustrate the breadth of scientific data available about social determinants, the built environment, and health.
