Transportation Health Impact Assessment Toolkit: For Planning and Health Professionals


Developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this toolkit provides a comprehensive framework for local health departments, project managers, city planners, and other important stakeholders to conduct health impact assessments (HIAs) on proposed transportation projects, plans, and policies. Elements of the toolkit include general HIA resources, background information on HIA indicators, case studies, and strategies for health-oriented transportation projects and policies.
