Text Messages for Birth Defects Prevention


The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities provides weekly text messages to with reminders to take folic acid, and other health tips to prevent birth defects. Women of childbearing age--including those who are not planning to get pregnant--can sign up for this service to receive mobile health tips.
