Fact Sheets: Links Between Violence and Chronic Diseases, Mental Illness and Poor Learning

These fact sheets describe how violence affects the ability of children to focus on learning and participate in physical activities. They also link emotional and physical injury to longer term health consequences, including asthma, unhealthy eating, and heart and lung disease.
