Roadmap for Limb Loss Prevention and Amputee Care Improvement


This Amputee Coalition white paper discusses the causes, prevalence, and impact of limb loss in the United States. This paper provides a four-point action plan for prevention of limb loss, practie guidelines for care of people with limb loss, development of a research agenda, and development of a replicable model system of care including prevention, rehabilitation and community integration.
