The American Public Health Association has a 2010 Public Health ACTion (PHACT) campaign to increase political awareness of the importance of public health in securing our nation's health. The PHACT Campaign Toolkit provides information and tools on skills including engaging grassroots advocacy, communicating with Congress, and methods that can be utilized in other political and policy environments. Issues include: funding, healthy transportation policies, and child nutrition and wellness.
