QI Example: Levy County Health Department


For those ready to apply quality improvement (QI) project to agency functions, this resource provides an example of a QI process from beginning to end.  This case example depicts how the Levy County Health Department (LCHD) chose to enhance its capacity to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of all local programs and activities, and use the information to improve performance and community health outcomes. Specifically, the Department focused on improving the timeliness and accuracy of its animal bite reporting process.
