Epidemiology of HIV/AIDS in Sonoma County

The 2007 Epidemiology of HIV/AIDS in Sonoma County report was released in June 2007 and was developed by the Sonoma County Department of Health Services as a part of their annual epidemiologic profile. The report summarizes the status of HIV/AIDS cases, including race, ethnicity, and exposure category. The report also includes information about access to care and the impact of methamphetamine use and STD infection rates on the HIV/AIDS epidemic. This epidemiologic profile can be used as a guide for local health departments wishing to compile a community-driven epidemiologic profile.
