During this exciting two-day workshop, participants will hear from dynamic speakers who will share their experience and expertise through information sharing sessions, addressing topics such as workforce learning needs, competency development, information sharing, and disconnects in the field.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Workshop participants will receive the latest updates regarding key federal activities and legislation, share education and training strategies, and develop recommendations for the future.  Don't miss this opportunity to impact the future of disaster medicine and public health education, training, and competency development.

This workshop is available at no cost to participants and will convene representatives from applicable federal agencies, state and local government, accredited academic organizations, professional organizations, private sector entities involved in competency development, and practitioners in the field. 

This workshop is sponsored by the National Center for Disaster Medicine and Public Health, Federal Education and Training Interagency Group, United States Northern Command, and Yale New Haven Center for Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Response.
