25+ years of practice in a safety-net institution providing family medicine and public health care. Currently direct the informatics and preparedness programs at the Denver Public Health Department. Am the NACCHO representative to the HIT Policy Committee and National eHealth Collaboratives. Have been involved in HIT for decades and focused on public health applications. Have published widely on use of health data to improve the process of care.
