Successfully Integrating Environmental Public Health Tracking and Assessments
5/14/2013 1:00 PM 2:00 PM
The American Public Health Association, Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, and National Association of County and City Health Officials, are proud to sponsor a three-part webinar series on Environmental Public Health Tracking. The first part of the series, “Successfully Integrating Environmental Public Health Tracking and Environmental Health Assessments” will be held on May 14th from 1:00 PM–2:00 PM EDT. This webinar will feature the Florida Department of Health describing their use of the Environmental Public Health Tracking Network as an integral component of conducting community-based environmental health assessments. They will describe how the Tracking Network was used in conjunction with the Protocol for Assessing Community Excellence in Environmental Health (PACE-EH) and the Environmental Public Health Performance Standards (EnvPHPS). Participants will learn how a robust environmental public health tracking network will enrich the environmental health assessments process by providing indicator data to support community identified issues. Florida will share their experiences, valuable lessons learned, and planning tips for other states and jurisdictions to assist them with their own current and future environmental health assessments. Join us as we learn more about the invaluable contribution of the Tracking Network to public health programs.
